Philmont 2009
Bobby Seaver, Colin Davis and Jeff Davis were part of Bucks County Council's Philmont expedition Crew 720-M2 in July of 2009. Highlights of our trek included a T-Rex footprint, ancient Indian writings, 2 days with our burro "Yoshi", a climb to Hart Peak and Mt. Baldy, black powder and shotgun shooting, branding, goldpanning, and burro racing. We also did COPE-like challenges, an archeological dig for indian artifacts, a conservation project to heal damage due to runoff, rock climbing and rappelling, and we backpacked over 70 miles. We even got 'buzzed' by a USAF B-1B bomber! A great time was had by all.
