Troop 30 Summer Camp 2011
Date: Sunday July 3 – Saturday July 9, 2011
Location: Ockanickon Scout Reservation, Pipersville, PA www.ockanickon.org
Description: Enjoy activities including Opening and Closing Campfires, Water
Volleyball Tournament, High Adventure activities such as rock climbing
and river rafting, and the opportunity to earn Merit Badges from a wide selection
offered.
Who Should Go: This trip is recommended for ALL scouts. Families may join the
troop on Sunday afternoon, and return on Saturday morning for the closing
ceremony.
Photo: A group troop photo is taken at camp. The cost is usually about $8.00 for an 8x10 print, but has not yet been determined.
Camp Fees: Make checks payable to Troop 30.
$335 if paid by 2/21 (Special Discounted Rate)
$354 if paid after 2/21, and by 4/18 (Regular Camp Rate)
$368 if paid after 4/18, and by 5/23 (Late Camp Rate)
$391 if paid after 5/23 (Walk-In Rate)
Webelos who crossover and pay by 5/23 will get the $335 rate. Payment can be
made at any troop meeting before 5/23 along with the official BSA application to
join Troop 30.
NO REFUNDS AFTER 4/18 UNLESS REPLACEMENT IS FOUND!
What to Bring: Class “A” uniform, along with clothes, sleeping gear, bathing suit and
towel, etc. No electronic games / entertainment!
NOTES: * At least one adult is needed to attend the Annual Leaders Meeting on Sat., April 30th at Ockanickon (8:30 - 3:30)
* Several adult volunteers are needed for all or part of the week at camp.
* Camp preparations will be discussed at the May 2nd committee meeting.
